Today we went to Coach Wu’s hometown in Nanping in the Northern Fujian province where he both went to school and trained as a youth. This school we visited today is the Nanping Shiyan Primary School where the students range from 8-13 years old age. This is a true developmental program where kids come here to learn the movements.

Bonus Edit: My family is from Taiwan, but my grandpa is originally from here in Nanping. I learned this fun fact from my mom this afternoon when we were buying some tea for her at @wuchuanfu friend’s tea shop. Looks like I still have some distant great aunties and uncles in this city. Who would’ve guessed this huge coincidence.
