Here is the jumping drill Coach Wu (@wuchuanfu) used in yesterday’s post. To make sure that this drill isn’t used out of context, this is a simple jumping drill to practice the basic nuances of using the legs to push the body; and more importantly, the proper involvement of the hips so an actual jump is being performed in rapid succession. The athlete should not try to achieve this level of elevation when performing the Olympic-style lifts. That would barbell suicide.
