Trying to fix movement patterning? Improve your snatch, clean, and/or jerk before you even start by priming your movement. Choose an exercise that closely mimics what you are trying to ingrain and perform that exercise prior to the main lift. For example, having difficulty with stepping through the bar on your jerk? Practice some Jerk Balances prior to clean+jerks. Can't seem to connect with the bar well in the first or second pull? Some Halting/Pause Snatch/Clean Deadlifts or Pulls might do the trick. Or maybe your feet like to dance around on the platform when you land. Then some Jump/Land drills might be the order to quiet those feet down. For most athletes of a beginning to intermediate background, spending the extra 15-20 minutes on a corrective exercise will improve the quality of the session adding more value to the day's training. #FuBarbell #ReebokONE #CrossFit #Olympicstyleweightlifting #usaw #snatch #clean #cleanandjerk #technique #education #motivation #instagramfitness
